As it does every year, My Salon de coiffure will be attending the World Hairdressing Championships in Paris in September 2018 at the stand of its manufacturer, Vezzosi. The International Hairdressing Exhibition is the premier event in the hairdressing world. It features creative shows and dance performances, conferences and highly acclaimed competitions!

This major exhibition, bringing together specialists from the hairdressing and beauty sectors, will take place on 8, 9 and 10 September. Here, we’ll show you all the reasons why you should come and visit us at this incredible event!
Conferences to discover great ideas
This is your chance to meet the industry’s leading figures and gain inspiration from high-quality conferences. Last year, we were lucky enough to attend talks that gave us some great ideas, such as (as a digital player) ‘What digital strategy should be adopted for the customer journey in a beauty salon?’, led by Béatrice Boussard from SENS’O and Popai France. As innovators and trend-spotters, we drew inspiration from the round-table discussion moderated by Emmanuelle Evina on the topic ‘Why and how should salons develop services for curly hair in the future?’. We also, of course, attended Pierre Barré’s talk, in which he shared his secrets to success for hair salons!
Keeping an eye on trends with the show’s major events
At the World Hairdressing Show, you can admire new collections showcased in live fashion shows and inspiring stage performances. Leading French and international names share their perspectives on hairstyling and make-up through artistic performances on a large, specially dedicated stage. The 2017 edition featured, amongst others, American hairstylist Guy Tang, as well as Pierre Saint Sever, Patricia Rameau, Julien Tur, Elodie Hue and Richard Ashforth.
The World Hairdressing Championships – Porte de Versailles, Paris
Major competitions take place in these creative venues: the international eyelash extension competition, beauty contests… but also, and above all, OMC Hairworld, which in September 2018 will see 1,300 talented competitors from all over the world go head-to-head. The international hairdressing competition, dedicated to hairstyling, hair care and make-up, lasts two… thrilling days!
Discover new rising stars during the World Hairdressing Championships
Other events such as ‘The Hairdress’ (now in its 6th edition in 2018) give six candidates the chance to land their dream job. This springboard enables us to keep an eye out for exceptional new ‘scissor-wielders’ and, above all, to observe the quality of their work.
We therefore look forward to welcoming you to the stand of our manufacturer Vezzosi, a designer of furniture for hairdressers and salons. For over 40 years, Vezzosi has been designing and producing professional wash units, hairdressing chairs, service units and many other pieces of equipment so high-performing that numerous salons benefit from them today.
