What are the eligibility criteria for the grant?
The ergonomics grant is aimed at micro-enterprises and SMEs in the hairdressing sector wishing to reduce the risk factors associated with their day-to-day activities.
This grant scheme for the prevention of ergonomic risks enables businesses to take practical steps to improve working conditions. To be eligible, the business must:
- Employ between 1 and 49 staff members.
- Be up to date with its social security and tax obligations.
- Not have experienced any serious accidents recently.
- Submit its application before purchasing any ergonomic equipment.
Carsat may cover up to 50 per cent of the pre-VAT cost of certain equipment. The furniture in question must contribute to the prevention of risks associated with posture, repetitive movements or prolonged standing.
How do I apply to Carsat?
The process is carried out online, directly on your regional Carsat website. Here are the main steps to benefit from the Carsat scheme:
- Log in to the dedicated platform using your SIRET number.
- Check your eligibility for the grant.
- Complete an application form detailing the equipment in question.
- Attach the quotations (without signing them) and the application form.
Once your application has been approved, you will have a set period in which to order and install the equipment. The grant is paid upon submission of the invoices. The business must retain the equipment for at least three years.
