What is the TMS grant scheme offered by Carsat?
Carsat (the Pension and Occupational Health Insurance Fund) supports businesses with funding and the prevention of ergonomic risks. This scheme aims to fund up to 50 per cent of the pre-VAT cost of equipment designed to improve workplace ergonomics.
To be eligible, a hairdressing salon must employ between 1 and 49 staff and be up to date with its contributions.
Applications for Carsat financial support are made online via the regional Carsat platform. The grant covers the purchase of equipment and requires the equipment to be retained for at least three years.
This grant applies in particular to ergonomic hairdressing wash units, which are a real asset in the fight against musculoskeletal disorders. The LUXURY head spa, for example, is a model designed to relieve strain on hairdressers’ posture whilst offering a wellness service to customers.
